Description

One or more Bioinformatic analyst positions are available at the Department of Genetics and Genomic Sciences at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. The primary responsibility is to write and maintain computer codes and scripts for implementing and testing cutting edge computational methods for genomic and imaging data analysis focusing on spatial transcriptomics and single-cell analysis. The analyst will also perform data analysis in various collaborative projects with biologists and physicians. The analyst will obtain great training opportunities for career development in academia or biotech industry.


Qualifications

BS degree is minimum. Strong programming skill is essential. Basic knowledge of bioinformatics is required. Prior experience with genomic data analysis is highly desired.
