Description

A postdoctoral position is available immediately for a highly motivated candidate to develop systems pharmacology approaches to integrate pharmaco-omics data to understand drug sensitivity and resistance in pediatric leukemia towards translational research. The candidate will be jointly trained in the labs of Drs. Jiyang Yu in the Computational Biology department and Jun J. Yang in the Pharmaceutical Sciences and Oncology departments. The two labs have synergistic strengths and close collaborations with discoveries being translated into clinical trials. The successful applicant will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, performing integrative analysis of multidimensional datasets at the bulk and single-cell levels, including whole genome/exome sequencing, bulk and single-cell RNA-seq/ATAC-seq, proteomics, and ex vivo drug sensitivity profiling of preclinical and clinical leukemia samples. The algorithms and analysis aim to develop therapeutic strategies to improve leukemia treatment.
