Description

Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 501769), to commence as soon as possible for one to two years, with the possibility of renewal. More information about the Ho Laboratory can be found here (holab-hku.github.io/). The appointee will develop and apply single cell genomics experimental AND/OR computational techniques to a range of biological questions. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.


Qualifications

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Computational Biology, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline. They should have substantial experience in cell culture, molecular biology techniques, OR strong expertise statistical analysis of biomedical data. Preference will be given to those with experience in any experimental genomic techniques OR analysis of next generation sequencing data. Applicants should be organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in an interdisciplinary team.
