Applications are invited for a Bioinformatics Associate position in the laboratory of Dr. Ekta Khurana (khuranalab.med.cornell.edu) at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) in New York City. The research focus of the lab is on cancer genomics with a special interest in the use of non-coding genome for clinical analysis. As a Bioinformatics Associate, you will participate in data analysis with graduate students and postdocs. Job responsibilities will include the maintenance and continuous improvement of the computational tools developed by the lab.
A Masters or Bachelors with experience in computational biology, bioinformatics, or computer science is required. A strong computational background and proficiency in at least one programming language are required.
