The Harvard Medical School Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI.hms.harvard.edu) at the Blavatnik Institute is seeking a junior faculty member to take a leadership role in applying machine learning to the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Medicine is going to be changed by the application of machine learning techniques to healthcare care and discovery. DBMI is looking for AI/ML researchers interested in joining our tenure-track faculty to help lead research to effect that change in the most effective, safe and rapid way.


Qualifications

Successful applicants will have had experience working in the medical task domain using healthcare data with scholarly publications documenting their work.

Demonstrated academic performance and a record of mentorship is equally important as is as a deep interest to mentor a new generation of talented biomedical informatics researchers.

Appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor of Biomedical Informatics will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievements in addition to teaching activities.
