The Computational Biology Department in Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science has established itself as a leader in both research and education. It has consistently been the top contributor to the major computational biology conferences, it continues to play major roles in several national and international centers, its faculty have many leadership positions in editorial, society and peer review capacities, and its members have won several prestigious awards. On the education front, the department’s undergraduate, M.S. and Ph.D. programs have seen large increases in applications over the last few years.
We are seeking an energetic and visionary leader for the position of Full Professor and Head of the Department.
