Description

The Park lab in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at HMS is a computational genomics lab specializing in genome analysis. The lab consists of highly talented and productive researchers from various quantitative fields. This Junior Scientific Programmer will assist researchers in the development, implementation, and application of new algorithms. There is ample opportunity to do independent research if desired


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
Some experience with sequencing data and bioinformatics are highly desirable. Strong programming skills and attention to detail are essential.

Additional Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in the programming language python preferred. Ability to work well with other.
