Our lab is interested in AI in medical devices and drug discovery. The lab has won over a dozen international competitions in machine learning in the above areas and many others, such as regulatory genomes, biological networks, clinical outcome predictions. We are the sole ‘Consistent Best Technical Performer’ awarded by DREAM as of today and one of the few multiple gold medal holders in International Data Science Bowl globally as well as best performer of PhysioNet.
The lab's works have been published in Science, Nature Methods, Nature Communication, and other leader journals. Our lab was featured in the inaugural issue of Nature's new family journal Nature Machine Intelligence in 2019.
