Research Assistant I/II in the School of Biomedical Sciences to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary; or to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal. The appointee will participate in research projects relating to the applications of cloud computing, mobile smart devices and artificial intelligence technologies to a variety of biomedical problems.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. Review of applications will start as soon as possible and continue until June 30, 2019.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree preferably in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline. Proficiency in at least one computer programming language is essential. Applicants should also be organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently and in a team.
