Applications are invited for appointment a research assistant position in the Laboratory of Dr Joshua Ho (holab-hku.github.io/), to commence as soon as possible. The appointee will participate in research projects relating to single-cell analysis, disease genomics, metagenomics, cloud computing, medical AI, and precision medicine. All projects will involve analysing large 'omic' data with collaborators, and opportunity to develop novel bioinformatics methods and software.

Applicants should have a Bachelor degree preferably in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering or a related discipline, with a passion for developing and applying bioinformatics software to solve a variety of biomedical problems. They must be proficient in at least one computer programming language.
