1. Data analysis and interpretation, e.g. hypothesis testing, predictive modelling for disease prognosis & diagnosis, and patient stratification based on an integration of -omics and clinical datasets
2. Development of models and/or algorithms for analyzing next generation sequencing data to infer somatic mutations and somatic copy number alterations
3. Development of algorithms for identifying novel drug targets using public datasets
To be successful in this role, the candidate should have
1. Experience in computational biology, systems biology, or bioinformatics
2. Strong skills in statistical programming (R, SAS or MATLAB) and at least one of PERL/Python/Java/C/ C++
3. Strong publication record with emphasis on the development of novel methods for analyzing multi-omics data
PhD with 3+ years of experience (academia or industry) in Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics or Information Technology
